Nash Plumbing and Mechanical LLC, an employee-owned company, in business for over 50 years is currently seekingan Associate Account Manager for our commercial HVAC/plumbing division. This person will prepare accurate quotes and proposals for various customers by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. This person will provide knowledge of the cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions, determine key variables, and gather information from sites, blueprints, vendors, subcontractors, and experience. The person must also be thorough and adept in managing relationships with key persons. The Associate Account Manager will support and report to the Service Manager and General Manager in all pricing and quotations submission aspects.
Responsibilities:
•Perform price quotes for various HVAC and plumbing services or repairs.
•Contact vendors and subcontractors for pricing for all proposals, where applicable.
•Attend site walks as needed, making note of the geographical features of the work area, access to infrastructure (roads, electricity, sewer, etc.), and existing building conditions.
•Take into account all materials, equipment, labor, tools, and any other resources needed to complete the job.
•Preparation of quotes and proposals.
•Maintain an electronic filing system for all price estimates.
•Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors.
•Remain involved in a project to help maintain the profit margin and handle any changes in the original estimates.
•In addition to monetary costs, one must take into account the duration, scope, and potential profitability of a new project or product.
What You Need to Bring:
•Prior experience in producing written price quotes and proposals for various HVAC services and repairs.
•HVAC knowledge preferred (equipment, parts, and supplies with commercial experience is a big plus!).
•Strong communication and presentation skills—you can influence, inspire, and close.
•Self-starter mentality with top-tier time management skills.
•Analytical mindset with a customer-first approach to problem-solving.
•Comfortable with CRM platforms and Excel.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience is preferred.
•Tech-savvy with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Excellent multitasker with a positive attitude and customer service mindset.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
