A Snapshot of Your Day

This position will be located within the Gulf Coast Region (ideally Houston, TX) and will be responsible for calling on power plants, utilities, EPC’s and developers with a primary focus on grid technology applications.


How You’ll Make An Impact

This Power System Sales position will own the team responsibility for sales of all products and solutions for the different business units within Siemens Energy. Those products and services include long term services and grid integration, service upgrades, renewable energy solutions (wind, solar, BESS), digital offerings, grid solutions (FACTS), transformers, and HV/MV AIS and GIS breakers.
Develop sophisticated customer strategies and build value propositions by leveraging the cross divisional Siemens portfolio in the region.
This role will also include strategic business development and core account management in the region.
Develop meaningful relationships with key partners, internally and externally.
Be a main contact for customers as part of the platform team. Host regular face to face meetings with customers.
Forecast opportunities, manage the sales process, partner with the business units, ensure order entry, and work close with sales support.
Build and maintain strategic account plans for key accounts. Maintain accurate Salesforce.com records.


What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering with 5+ years of sales in the utility or industrial markets. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
Experience representing a variety of products in direct sales to Utilities, IPPs, Private Equity, Renewable Developers, and/or Public Power Client Verticals.
Ability to support customers, as needed, outside of traditional working hours.
A strong understanding of the business with prior customer facing experience and proven experience negotiating and closing complex projects.
Ability to travel domestically and on occasion internationally, at times up to 40%.

Help customers with their decarbonization goals across the broad energy industry spectrum
Willing to work with cross functional teams
