The position is based in Williston, VT and requires significant travel to visit important customers in the sales territory – New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, primarily the Metro NYC area. Job Summary
This is a relationship sales position; no boiler room techniques are employed. The Account Manager develops relationships and sells IR Analyzers’ testing services and products to a diverse client base of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, property managers, and building owners.
Job Responsibilities
•Communicate with existing customers, cold call prospects, and field incoming service requests
•Develop and execute a successful plan to increase business in the sales territory
•Maintain a hunter mentality, eager to pick up the phone to find new opportunities and bring on new accounts
•Adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each business interaction ensuring timely responses to inquiries
•Create and close winning technical sales proposals
•Achieve sales revenue targets
•Gather and record contact information and technical data about calls and projects from current and prospective customers in our Customer Relations Management (CRM) software - Zoho
•Represent the company at regional and national industry trade shows
Skills and Qualifications
•Demonstrate strong computer skills with proficiency in Windows-based applications, CRM systems, and MS Office products
•Possess a proven ability to create and nurture client relationships through excellent customer service skills
•Bring experience building networks within customer, partner, and industry organizations in order to drive connections and networking
•Is high energy, self-motivated, positive, personable, adaptable, and able to relate well with diverse client populations
•Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
•Is a resourceful team player with a strong work ethic able to independently and proactively manage own schedule using well developed organization and prioritization skills
•Display respect, integrity, professionalism, and discretion
•Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills
•Bring 3+ years of successful sales experience to this position
•Experience in the commercial roofing, waterproofing, and/or construction industries is desirable
•Familiarity with sales territory, especially Metro NYC area is desirable
•Completion of one or more corporate sales training programs is desirable

: $65,000 – $75,000 salary to start. Great growth potential. Will transition to an incentive-based compensation program.
