We are looking for an Assistant Controller who will manage professional-level accounting functions and prepare accurate financial and operational reports, including earnings, cash balances, and cost analyses. You will ensure data accuracy, reconciles accounts for leadership review, and monitor financial trends, revenues, and obligations. With the goal of developing and maintaining budgeting systems to control expenditures and may recommend future financial plans and policies.

Some of the work you will do:
- Manages professional level accounting functions and the preparation of reports including earnings, profits/losses, cash balances, and cost accounting. Confirms accuracy of operating and financial reports.
- Reconciles data and accounts for upper management regarding matters, such as effective use of resources and methods, for preventing capital being frozen.
- Prepares records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
- Develops, installs, and maintains budgeting systems that provide control of expenditures made to carry out activities, such as advertising and marketing, production and labor, maintenance, or project activities, such as construction of buildings.
- May recommend future financial plans and policies.
Here are the skills that you need:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and, where relevant, IFRS.
- Experience with reconciliations, general ledger management, and financial statement Familiarity with tax preparation, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of internal controls and process improvement for financial operations.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience collaborating with external auditors and supporting audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing financial data and creating financial models.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (preferably Business Central).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Ability to design and maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with policies.
