POSITION: Fraction Energy Services - Asset Manager

Fraction is searching for a solutions-driven individual to effectively manage the company’s diverse inventory of water management assets. This role will work closely with Field Operations Managers and the Maintenance Team to maximize utilization of company-owned assets, reduce downtime, and minimize reliance on rental equipment. To be successful, the ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to operate within a strong team environment. Knowledge of high volume and high-pressure pumping systems as well as asset tracking software is beneficial. This role will be based out of Fraction’s Grande Prairie, Alberta office.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with Field Operations Managers and yard staff to ensure assets are accounted for prior to, during, and after field deployment.
- Conduct field visits to reconcile asset locations against GPS tracking data and load-out sheets.
- Manage asset-tracking software and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
- Support Asset Coordinators with pre-planning and preparation of equipment job packages.
- Identify improvement opportunities of equipment storage and yard set-ups to support efficient logistics including job preparation and equipment loading/unloading.
- Support equipment lifecycle planning, including acquisition, commissioning, operation, maintenance, refurbishment, redeployment, and disposal.
- Partner with the Maintenance Team to plan and track preventive maintenance schedules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as the ability to learn various financial and asset management systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work with a solution-driven team.
- Must have 5 years of related experience managing equipment assets. Knowledge of high-volume and high-pressure pumping systems is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills and the ability to positively collaborate in a Team environment.
