Assembly Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

JW Bell is in need of a experienced Assembly technician. Primary duties consist of assembly of manufactured custom aggregate and mining equipment. This is a fast paced position with a variety of tasks daily. If you are looking for a challenge, this is a great opportunity for you.

Skill Requirements:

· High level of mechanical aptitude is required.

· Study, read, and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, and process documents

· Knowledge of hydraulics, axles, suspensions & DOT air brakes is preferred

· Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts and hydraulic fitting crimpers

· Perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is assembled in accordance with the specifications

· Detail oriented – produce a quality finished product

· Excellent time management skills

· Ability to implement and identify needs for improvement in processes/procedures when needed and communicate with management.

Physical Requirements:

· Lift up to 75 pounds

· Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, climbing, crawling, pushing/pulling 40-50+ hour work week, depending on the schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
