Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Located in West Fargo, North Dakota, Industrial Builders, Inc. is a heavy highway contractor with the skills and resources to excel in a wide range of construction industries from building dams and bridges to sprawling earthwork grading jobs. We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and repairing a wide range of construction equipment

- Reading and understanding maintenance manuals

- Maintaining a safe work environment

- Performing Routine Maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, as well as more complex repairs like component replacements or major repairs

- Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues with diesel engines, hydraulic components, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and resources

- Minimal traveling to jobsites to repair equipment when necessary

Previous heavy equipment technician / mechanic experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 50 pounds.
