Rogers Group is currently seeking individuals for

ASPHALT SCREED / SCREW OPERATOR

position in our Northern Middle Tennessee Division located in and around

Madison, Tennessee

to work on a paving crew building various projects such as commercial parking lots, city streets, county roads and interstate highways.

JOB DETAILS

- Full-Time

- Day Shift (some night work/weekend work may be required)

- Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits

- Wages starting at $24.00/hr


Job Responsibilities

- Operate Paving Equipment as directed by the working foreman and superintendent

- Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments.

- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.

- Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.

- Effective communication skills applicable to position.

- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.


Qualifications

- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an asphalt paving operation.

- Demonstrated experience serving as a lead or providing direction to a team.

- Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas.

- Physical ability to perform routine maintenance and daily cleaning of spray system.

- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.

- Team player.

- Safe driving record.

- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours when necessary.

- Pass pre-employment drug screen.

- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.

- Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required.
