We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Ad Book Sales & Event Sponsorship Representative to drive revenue growth through strategic sales and sponsorship initiatives.
Independent Contractor (1099) – Commission Based Location: Southern Maine (Standish Area)
We are seeking an energetic, creative, self-starter to support an established regional music and camping festival held in Southern Maine.
Now entering its fifth year, the event attracts an average of approximately 1,000 attendees and features live music, vendors, artists, and community partners. The festival has built a strong reputation within the regional music community and continues to expand its partnerships with local businesses.
As part of the event’s marketing and fundraising strategy, the festival produces a printed festival ad book (1,000 copies) featuring advertising from local businesses and recognition of event sponsors. These books are distributed to attendees during the event weekend.
The Ad Book Sales & Event Sponsorship Representative will lead outreach to local and regional businesses to secure advertising placements and event sponsorships.
The goal of the campaign is to generate $100,000 in advertising and sponsorship revenue through partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
The selected representative will begin with a prospect list of approximately 50 potential sponsors, including 10 warm leads that have already been identified.
This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099) position.
The representative will work independently, managing their own schedule, outreach, and sales pipeline while collaborating with the event team to coordinate sponsorship opportunities and advertising placements.
The commission rate is 15% of all sales generated during the campaign.
The campaign goal is $100,000 in sponsorship and advertising revenue, creating the potential for up to $15,000 in commission earnings for a successful representative.
There is no cap on earnings beyond the campaign goal.

- Some experience with Sponsorship applications helpful but not necessary
Candidates must be located in Southern Maine and able to conduct outreach within approximately 50 miles of the Standish area.
Sales Campaign: March 15 – June 15
Primary focus includes securing advertising placements, event sponsorships, and community business partnerships that support the success of the festival.
The right person for this role is a motivated self-starter who enjoys working independently, building relationships, and connecting local businesses with community events. Someone familiar with the regional music scene and local business community will be especially successful in this role.
