Position: Accounts Payable Analyst

We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Calgary office. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong experience in the oil and gas industry. Reporting to the Finance Team, the Analyst will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and expense reports, supporting the broader finance function in delivering operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
•Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
•Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
•Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
•Maintain vendor records, including setup and ongoing updates.
•Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close processes.
•Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and insight.
•Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within accounts payable.
•Participate in ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
•6–10 years of Accounts Payable experience in the oil and gas sector.
•Proficiency with Qbyte FM and OpenInvoice is required.
•Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word skills are considered an asset.
•Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a high level of accuracy.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proactive problem-solving approach with the judgment to escalate when necessary.
•Demonstrates a strong work ethic, accountability, and alignment with Teine’s Core Values.
