Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our front office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires experience in generating monthly Financial statements, budgeting, financial and costing accounting and analysis, and a knowledge of payroll practices. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization.
- Supervise and lead the office team
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing regular updates to management and the bank.
- Coordinate vendor management activities to maintain strong supplier relationships
- Implement effective office management practices to enhance operational efficiency
- Managing Insurance Policies, Including Building, Product, Health and Workers Comp
- Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role with supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in human resources functions is a plus
- Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems experience
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting
