Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and financial management, with expertise in GAAP and various accounting software. This role involves overseeing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will also mentor junior staff and play a key role in financial reporting and analysis.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP financial reporting standards.
- Prepare and interpret financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct financial analysis, cash flow analysis, and budgeting to support organizational goals.
- Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Mentor junior staff members in their professional development and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with external auditors during reviews
- Utilize various accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) for efficient financial management.- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate finance or public accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and financial report writing skills.
- Experience with tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
