As an

, you’ll oversee and guide our accounting team while ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Reporting directly to the to the CFO, this role is responsible for managing core accounting functions, analyzing financial performance, and supporting business decisions through timely and accurate reporting. What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Reporting

- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

- Generate financial statements and provide variance analysis against budget/forecast.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

- Monitor inventory accounting, including valuation, adjustments, and shrinkage.

- Partner with Operations to reconcile inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.

- Analyze cost of goods sold, gross margins, and distribution-related costs.

- Provide insights into working capital tied to inventory.

Cash, Controls & Compliance

- Support cash forecasting and working capital optimization.

- Maintain internal controls and ensure readiness for audits.

- Assist with external audits.

Leadership & Process Improvement

- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff.

- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting workflows.

- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A to strengthen financial decision-making.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

- 5-7 years of accounting experience with proven leadership of accounting teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills in financial analysis and reporting.

- Solid understanding of cost and inventory accounting practices.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
