Accounting Assistant/Accounts Receivable

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Location: Rapid City, SD

Heartland Pella - A full service window and door company operating in NE, SD and ND, is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Rapid City team.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

Calculate bi-monthly commission reports for sales reps.

Complete Service Module invoicing.

Monitor customer credits and request refunds.

Process and record Wells Fargo Financial Payments.

Record miscellaneous account adjustments.

Record Wells Fargo Business Card statement.

Record Auto-Pays.

Contact customers to collect outstanding A/R balances.

Process remote check deposits on a daily basis.

Act as a backup in the Finance Department when needed.

Carry out other tasks assigned by the Finance department manager as requested.

Reconcile Pella Corporate statements.

Follow all safety procedures.

Timely attendance.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Accounting.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software is a plus.
