Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable team member to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, collections, and ensuring timely invoicing. Responsibilities
•Process and record incoming payments accurately and promptly.
•Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring all billing information is correct.
•Maintain accounts receivable records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
•Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
•Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
•Utilize financial software such as for data entry and reporting.
•Ensure compliance with customer billing requirements and terminology when applicable.
•Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
•Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
Qualifications
•Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related financial services role is preferred.
•Familiarity with billing processes is a plus.
•Proficient in accounting software QuickBooks and financial applications.
•Strong knowledge of journal entries and basic accounting principles.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
•Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required.
