We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to manage our front desk and assist in various administrative and accounting tasks. This permanent position pays $12-$14/hour, depending on experience level.

Duties
•Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
•Answer and route telephone calls, take messages and prioritize them as needed.
•Maintain a tidy reception area, lobby and kitchen to ensure a welcoming environment, including basic housekeeping tasks.
•Assist in daily operations by running errands as needed, which may include grocery shopping for office supplies, handling banking transactions and delivering or collecting mail.
•Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
•Create, verify and process invoices for approval and distribution to clients.
•Support the accounts payable department by processing invoices, ensuring the accuracy of payment requests and maintaining vendor records.
•Assist the accounting department by entering financial transactions, reconciling records, and aiding with cash, credit card and check transactions.
•Prepare bank deposits and assist with general ledger postings.
•Conduct basic data entry and maintain accounting records per established standards.
•Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning.
•Assist with special projects and tasks, including working on the family farm during peak harvesting periods (cooking opportunities may be available).
•Assist with preparing and cooking meals for the team during the busy harvest season.
•Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
•Gather data for management as needed.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Requirements
•Must be 25 years of age or older.
•Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
•Valid driver's license that complies with state requirements.
•Commitment to regular and predictable attendance
•Ability to read, understand and communicate effectively in English.
•Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Previous experience in office administration or accounting is preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
•Strong customer service skills and a resourceful, proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physical/Mental Requirements
•Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and lifting as needed.
•Visual acuity for tasks requiring close attention and focus.
•Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary.
