· Complete all changes in the Human Resources Information System and manage employee files.
· Serve as the organization’s Human Resources contact including employee relations, worker’s compensation, OSHA, etc.
· Manage and administer employee benefits working with a benefit broker.
· Ensure all revenue and expense related activity is accurately reported.
· Ensure financial accounts are reconciled, with any issues investigated and resolved timely enabling accurate financial reporting.
· Run bi-weekly payroll and work with 3rd party vendor for accurate tax reporting, W-2s, etc.
· Responsible for completing AR/AP, adding new vendors and customers.
· Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in Human Resources or five or more years of hands-on HR experience.
· Working knowledge and experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking.
· Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
o Experience with a manufacturing ERP system is a plus.
· Working knowledge of Human Resources including payroll and benefit administration.
· Detail oriented approach to work, confidentiality, good problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Demonstrated skills and experience in managing sales tax.
· Proficiency with managing processes, using a robust accounting software system.
· Analytical ability to develop and implement solutions, improvements, and recommendations.
· Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with owners, senior managers, and all other employees.
· Must have integrity and discretion in safeguarding confidential information.
· Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
· While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone equipment.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
· Light to moderate lifting is required to perform tasks.
· Walk, bend, twist, kneel, and reach occasionally.
· Sit at a desk with a computer for extended periods of time.
· This is a hourly non- exempt position with regular M-F 8-5 hours.
· Extra hours may be required to meet deadlines (month/quarter/year-end)
