Responsibilities:
•Prepare and review joint interest billings (JIBs) in compliance with COPAS standards and JOAs.
•Analyze and reconcile joint account activity and ensure accurate cost allocations.
•Review and interpret joint operating agreements and apply appropriate accounting treatment.
•Monitor partner accounts, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
•Coordinate audits and provide supporting documentation.
•Collaborate across departments to support the tracking, classification, and reconciliation of fixed assets.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation for all JV transactions.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•1-2 years of experience working with Excalibur or similar oil and gas accounting software preferred.
•Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office.
•Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy.
Education:
•4-year undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance) with 0-2 years of oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent experience, or high school diploma or GED with 4-6 years of oil and gas joint interest accounting or equivalent experience.
