Role: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Continued Education Opportunities: Providers may be eligible to be reimbursed for Wound Care Certifications following 90 days with Nexus Wound Consultants
Full-time: Max census is 30-35 patients per week (7-9 per day)
Part-time: $500 per day of patients seen with the opportunity to receive monthly productivity bonuses
Full-time: $3269.23 per week with the opportunity to receive monthly productivity bonuses
Week 2: 4-5 days of in-person training with one of our Advanced Wound Care Trainers (out-of-state travel may be required depending on location)
Week 3: 4-5 days of in-person training in an area more local to you (if you are the first provider in a new area, additional out-of-area travel may be required)
Note: $50/hour for pre-patient training (Daily compensation starts the first day you see your first patient following training)
Travel to private residences, skilled nursing facilities, adult care homes, etc
to provide comprehensive care for advanced wound care candidates
Reach an informed diagnosis and create an appropriate treatment plan for each patient based on scientific knowledge and the patient's medical history
Accurately document in patient charts following each appointment in our EMR system, AdvancedMD
Perform wound care techniques on patients like debridements, applying biologic patches, and using Ultramist technology
Collaborate with Physicians, RNs, LVNs, and other Wound Care Providers to form a high-performing medical team
Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients
Part-time: Max census is 13 patients per week (full-time contract is extended once you reach a census above 13 patients)
Providers will participate in a training process to ensure overall preparedness and confidence before seeing patients independently
References: Provide three professional references (two peers and one supervisor)
Training: Providers will participate in a 3-week long training program before seeing patients independently
This position is not remote and will be servicing the Houston, TX area
