We are seeking an Employee Health Nurse with 5+ years of experience in a plant or refinery experience.
Responsibilities
Manage protocols and processes to deliver agreed upon KPIs without the need for direct supervision and can modify/adapt the protocols to local or individual need
Advise key internal stakeholders (employees, HR, and lines of business) on occupational health topics and may act as the local focal point for specific health fields (e.g. ergonomics, disability, etc.)
Maintain and manage all records relating to occupational health.
Performs, analyzes, and evaluates Health Screening data to identify possible workplace exposures as required by global Medical and Occupational Health (MOH) and applicable local laws and regulations. Makes recommendations to management based on individual results.
Collates and escalate issues from the frontline horizontally to asset specialists and collaborates with central teams to deliver standardized solutions.
Promote and implement the company’s health activities and programs to the staff to improve their physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
Leverage existing expertise from the asset class specialists.
Liaises with external medical services providers to ensure services provided are delivered in accordance with company guidelines.
Conducts Drug and Alcohol Specimen Collections and trains others according to company’s Alcohol and Drug Use (ADU) testing procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•Behavioral Skills: analytical, communicates effectively, courage of conviction, manages risk.
•Functional Skills: clinical case management, clinical testing, exposure assessment and controls, health education and promotion / counseling, infectious disease control program management, medical and research ethics, medication clearance assessment, occupational evaluations, occupational health laws, regulations, and company standards, occupational health program management, travel health preparation and assessment, emergency preparedness and response
•Licensed in the location of operations supported.
•Detailed knowledge of occupational medicine, emergency medical response, toxicology, legal issues relevant to occupational health care.
•DOT Certified- Drug & Alcohol Specimen Collection
•Must have/obtain Medical Malpractice insurance; will need to add Cenergy as an additional insured and have a waiver of subrogation.
•Registered nurse with occupational health experience or COHN certification is preferred.
•Experience working in as an Occupational Health Nurse in a manufacturing environment.
•Knowledge of safety principles and OSHA recordkeeping.
The pay range for this position is $45.00.00- $56.63 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
