Position Overview:

As a Workover Rig Hand at Venator Resources, you will play a critical role in supporting the operation, maintenance, and safety of workover rigs for oil and gas wells. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the setup and dismantling of rig equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols to enhance operational efficiency during workover operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in setting up and dismantling workover rigs, including assembling and disassembling tubing and related equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance on workover rig equipment, such as greasing, cleaning, and inspecting machinery to ensure optimal performance.

- Handle tools, equipment, and supplies with care, maintaining proper organization and inventory management.

- Operate machinery including forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as necessary for rig operations.

- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and active participation in safety meetings.

- Collaborate closely with the workover crew to ensure smooth and efficient well servicing operations.

- Work in challenging weather conditions and remote locations for extended periods, prioritizing safety and operational effectiveness.

Job Requirement

- Must have at least 1 yr experience

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred, required.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a demanding environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Willingness to work extended hours and travel to remote locations as required.

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

- Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as necessary.
