# Position: Welding Lead - Weekend Day Shift
Minimum Years Experience: 2+ to 5 Years
The Welding Lead is required to supervise participate in operational activities related to fabrication and welding. We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and forklift operation.
- Train weld production employees on welding operations and processes and procedures
- Participate in personnel staffing and review activities
- Coordinate flow of parts processing through weld and into QA
- Participate in schedule / status meetings and update based on priorities and deadlines
- Manage material needs
- Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications
- Follow company policy and standards
- Keep work centers clean and orderly
- Troubleshoot issues related to welding equipment and products
- Ability to train weld production employees on process and WPS (required)
- Ability to use measuring equipment, including tape measure, square, etc (required)
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong ability to be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime.
- Strong problem-solving skills both individually and with others.
- Strong ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
- Ability to hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
- Self-motivation with ability to work without much supervision.
- Ability to have a safety-focused mindset while performing job duties and functions.
- Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, TEAMs, Word, and Excel).

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn (preferred).
High school graduate or GED and at least 5 years of welding and/or fabrication work experience in a production/manufacturing environment or relevant equivalent experience (preferred
