Welder- Day Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on metals and other materials as required.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.

- Fabricate components according to design specifications using sheet metal and ductwork.

- Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding with knowledge of ASME codes & standards.

- Familiarity with various welding processes including FCAW, MIG, TIG, soldering, and plasma cutting.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles.

- Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and machining tools is a plus.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
