Welder- Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, tack, and weld pre-fabricated steel parts into finished sub-assemblies.

- Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings, ensuring accuracy in dimension styles.

- Prepare weld surfaces and determine appropriate welder settings based on material and position.

- Apply the correct welding technique for the given materials and verify final weld penetration and aesthetics.

- Safely operate and maintain various equipment, including welders, ironworkers, band saws, drill presses, and overhead cranes.

Night Shift

- 4:00pm - 4:30am Monday - Thursday

- $3.00 Night Shift Differential

Qualifications

- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, with a strong understanding of weld standards.

- Ability to read and convert measurements, including 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on a tape measure.

- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
