Water Plant Operator (Wastewater / Drinking Water)

About the Role:

Growing company seeks new operator to cover expanding position. We need a part to full time plant operator to cover drinking and wastewater package plant route, with additional plants onboarding.

Duties will include:

- Water quality data logging at each plant

- Water sample collection

- Chlorine injector cleaning and repair

- Chlorine pump repairs

- Basic blower maintenance

- Proactive problem solving

- Weekend bonus for weekend plant checks

Requirements:

- Current Class C Florida DEP License in Drinking and Wastewater

- Valid Driver’s License

- An eager desire to do things the right way

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.50 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:

- Water / wastewater plant operator: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

- FL DEP Water & Wastewater Operator, Class C or Higher? (Required)
