Patoka Lake Regional Water and Sewer District currently has an opening in our sewer department. The successful candidate will join our staff at the water pollution control facility and work closely with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to treat collected waste water within the regulations of the State of Indiana.
- Learn and perform maintenance on sewer lines, sewer plant, and lift stations.
- Assist in general operations including lab testing, mowing, painting, and maintenance.
- Operate equipment including tractors, skid steer, lawn mowers, and various vehicles.
- Become licensed sewer plant operator and attend classes to maintain certifications.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and assist in documenting inventory and inspections of the water collection system.
- Follow all safety rules and environmental regulations.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain class A CDL
- Monthly on-call duties
- Random drug testing
