Specific Job Requirements
•Champion and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment inside and outside of the warehouse and plant.
•Perform ongoing cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy throughout the year.
•Maintain systems for accurate inventory tracking, including updating part descriptions, quantities, and storage locations.
•Oversee and coordinate warehouse logistics operations, including inventory control, transportation, and on-time delivery of goods to support overall business objectives.
•Request quotes from vendors and manage inventory reordering based on usage patterns and stock levels.
•Monitor and manage cost accounts for all departments, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting of expenses.
•Ensure parts are correctly charged out of inventory based on picklists, verifying alignment with appropriate accounts and cost centers.
•Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Manager, and Electrical Department to ensure required parts are available when needed.
•Source and procure rare or specialized parts required for maintenance, production, or operational needs.
•Investigate and resolve part discrepancies in coordination with vendors to maintain accurate records and supplier accountability.
•Receive incoming materials at the plant, verifying shipments against purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
