Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor leads the Warehouse team to support and meet all the daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse (SRW) operational functions at our Neenah facility. The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies, raw materials & finished goods while acting as a key liaison between Sales and Operations to direct the inbound/outbound order flow through our facility. This position will be highly visible within the organization and with customers, vendors, and suppliers.

•Leads the Warehouse team in a safe and productive warehouse environment and ensures all necessary materials needed are delivered to the appropriate places in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
•Oversees raw material, consumables and finished good inventory receipts and accuracy in accordance with inventory cycles and production/order demands. Performs inventory checks and investigates any issues to identify root causes. Verifies rolls are properly tagged.
•Process all shipments by entering information into appropriate shipping systems, printing labels, bills of lading, packing lips and ensuring all international shipments have correct customs documentation. Verifies outbound skids are tagged appropriately and shipments are placed on proper carriers for shipment.
•Meets frequently with other key stakeholders within the organization to ensure our space allocation, process maps, and business plans are maximized to their potential.
•Maintains appropriate records of all SRW documents to aid in research of discrepancies, billing issues and comply with audit regulations.
•Maintains a strong level of morale and efficiency within the department. Provides guidance and direction to direct reports and assists in overcoming roadblocks.
•Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Inland’s policies and applicable laws by interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, assisting employees with career advancement, maintaining the employee journal, administering the performance appraisal process, administering the disciplinary process and addressing complaints and resolving issues. Responsible for ensuring that company policies are understood and observed in the department. Uses good judgment in enforcing company policies in a fair and consistent manner. Explains company policies, procedures, and work rules to new and existing employees.
•Establishes and maintains the warehouse Standard Operating Procedures and shares best practices with our teams.
•Champions safety efforts resulting in superior performance by developing and maintaining an environment of safe work practices and initiative-taking approaches to safety management. Support and assists in the facilitation of Inland’s DOT & PIV programs.
•Establishes, supports, and promotes the corrective action and continuous improvement systems.
•Ensures the proper supplies, tools, work instructions and equipment are available for all team members. As needed, lifts cartons/rolls/boxes of various sizes, operates lift trucks or hand-jacks to move material.

Essential skills and experience:
•Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Finance or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum 5 years of work experience within a warehouse environment with 3 years in a management or supervisory role, or a combination of education and experience is required.
•Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Possess a general understanding of business operating systems. Must possess a competency to learn new systems and technology.
•Detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize, time management and ability to adapt to changes.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, high level of interpersonal skills.
•Must be analytical, innovative, decisive, problem solver.
•Must be familiar with DOT and other applicable governing agencies rules and regulations.

•Forklift experience, preferably forklift training experience.
Nonessential skills and experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Finance
•Experience in printing/packaging or related field
Work Environment:
•Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments.
•Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, regulatory agencies, employees, team members, and managers.
Required Work Schedule:
•Typically works standard business hours.
•Must be flexible for occasional meetings and responsibilities outside of standard business hours including weekends.
