ImpactBio is proud to partner with our confidential client in search of a Virtual Sales Account Manager to drive commercial execution in the critical care space. This is a remote-based sales role focused on ICU and hospital account engagement through phone, video, and virtual tools.
You'll support the success of a first-in-class ICU therapy available under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), helping ensure eligible patients receive timely access to this life-saving treatment—all while collaborating from a virtual office.
In this role, you will act as the primary customer contact within accounts across the US by creating demand and executing sales & marketing strategies in the promotion of our Client's first-in-class ICU therapy available under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). You'll be targeting hospitals and delivering education and insights on the therapy's clinical value and economic impact to ICU clinicians, infectious disease specialists, hospital administrators, and pharmacy directors as some of your call points.
We're looking for an experienced Virtual Sales Account Manager who has high energy, can build ongoing relationships virtually with customers, possess strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset with proven sales ability. Key Responsibilities
•Take full ownership of virtual sales performance across assigned ICU and hospital accounts across the US.
•Meet or exceed daily and monthly call targets while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
•Develop and execute tailored virtual account strategies to support formulary inclusion, treatment protocol integration, and product adoption.
•Build and maintain trusted relationships with ICU clinicians, infectious disease specialists, hospital administrators, pharmacy directors, and P&T committee members—through phone and video-based interactions.
•Utilizes knowledge, critical thinking, and dialogue skills to deliver meaningful customer experiences that result in satisfaction and loyalty.
•Serve as the virtual point of contact for clinical leaders and decision-makers, delivering education and insights on the therapy's clinical value and economic impact.
•Drive awareness of the therapy through remote educational initiatives such as in-services, case discussions, and virtual Grand Rounds.
•Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and communicate key market insights to inform national strategy.
•Anticipates, identifies, and appropriately addresses healthcare professionals (HCP) objections, questions, and concerns, utilizing all appropriate resources and information, providing timely and effective solutions.
•Maintain detailed records in the CRM system per company policy.
•Remain compliant with all company & FDA regulations and policies.

Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree required.
•5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, ideally in hospital or critical care environments.
•Proven success launching or expanding therapies in ICU or acute care—virtual experience a plus.
•Understanding of EUA frameworks, formulary access, reimbursement models (e.g., DRGs), and payer dynamics.
•The ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers in a remote engagement model.
•Strong communication, time-management, and digital selling skills.
•Experience as an ICU nurse, pharmacist, or working directly within ICU clinical or pharmacy teams is a plus.
