The VP, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for shaping and executing Prevalon’s enterprise sourcing strategy, ensuring competitive cost structures, resilient supply chains, and strong commercial partnerships. This role focuses on deal-driven procurement, long-term agreements, cost-reduction initiatives, and supplier strategy for major project awards— including utility-scale, data-center, and service portfolios.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute a global strategic sourcing strategy supporting Projects, Services, and New Markets.
- Lead commercial negotiations for major components, system-level agreements, and strategic supplier partnerships.
- Support deal teams and BD with cost structures, pricing inputs, and competitive supply solutions.
- Build a sourcing framework that enables scale, resilience, and margin expansion.
- Oversee supplier segmentation, long-term agreements, commercial terms, and risk management.
- Partner with Product Development and Engineering to guide future platform sourcing strategy.
- Drive cost-reduction programs and supply-chain optimization initiatives.
- Represent sourcing in customer negotiations where required (commercial & technical).
- Provide leadership to sourcing teams across Project & Service Procurement and Strategic Sourcing functions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Strong negotiation capability.
- Must have demonstrated strong strategic planning and implementation of Supply Chain process.
- Must have a track record of strong cross-functional leadership skills.
- Deep sourcing and commercial experience in energy storage, power systems, industrial equipment, or large-scale engineered products. Battery Energy Storage System experience is an absolute must have experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain leadership.- Proven background supporting deal teams and major project execution.
