We are seeking a proven Vice President of Sales with solar experience who can lead our nationwide sales force, hold teams accountable, and drive continuous expansion.
The Vice President of Sales will oversee all national sales operations and lead General Managers, Sales Managers, and field sales teams. This role requires a highly driven, solar-experienced leader who thrives in a performance-based environment. Daily communication with the Owner is required to align on strategy, KPIs, and results. This role is fully remote.
- Oversee all national solar sales operations and implement scalable systems across all markets.
- Hold General Managers and Sales Managers fully accountable for performance, KPIs, recruiting, and team growth.
- Run all sales meetings (weekly/monthly), presenting metrics, pipelines, and action plans.
- Communicate with the Owner every day to report progress, challenges, and strategy.
- Develop and refine sales training, processes, and performance standards.
- Analyze and report sales metrics, conversions, and forecasts at the national level.
- Drive a culture of discipline, leadership, and high performance within the sales organization.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier solar sales talent across all regions.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and install teams to maintain a smooth customer journey.- Required: 3+ years of leadership experience in solar sales (VP, Director, Regional Manager, or similar).
- Proven success managing and scaling solar sales teams.
- Experience holding leaders and teams accountable with KPIs and structured processes.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate daily with the Owner.
- Ability to run high-level, data-driven sales meetings.
- Comfortable working in a 100% commission-based leadership role tied to results.
- Highly organized, strategic, and capable of managing multiple markets simultaneously.
- No base salary – 100% commission-based.
