We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead and support a growing network of veterinary hospitals across multiple regions. This executive will manage a team of Regional Directors, each of whom oversees 8–10 hospitals, and will serve as a critical bridge between field operations, hospital leadership, and the executive team.
The ideal candidate brings strong , exceptional financial acumen, and a proven ability to influence change from the ground up. You must think and act like an owner—driving profitability, operational consistency, cultural alignment, and sustainable growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, coach, and support a team of Regional Directors who oversee operations for 8–10 hospitals each across diverse geographies
•Partner directly with veterinarians and hospital leadership teams to ensure alignment on strategy, culture, and financial goals
•Own performance across your portfolio of hospitals—monitoring KPIs and P&L metrics, identifying gaps, and driving action plans to achieve results
•Standardize and scale best practices in hospital operations, client experience, staff management, and financial performance
•Collaborate with the M&A team to evaluate potential acquisitions, lead integration plans, and ensure smooth cultural and operational transitions
•Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and servant leadership across all levels of hospital operations
•Work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Recruiting, and Medical Leadership to ensure hospital teams are supported and resourced appropriately
•Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans for each region, with clear performance targets and accountability
•Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, helping shape overall company direction, values, and long-term growth strategy
Qualifications:
•10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in veterinary, multi-site healthcare, or a similar service-focused industry
•5+ years managing regional leaders or multi-unit operations at a VP or senior director level
•Strong understanding of veterinary hospital workflows, staff dynamics, and partnership with clinical leadership
•Proven success managing large, decentralized teams across multiple locations or states
•Demonstrated fluency in financial management, P&L ownership, budgeting, and data-informed decision-making
•Experience in acquisitions, integrations, and change management within a high-growth or consolidating environment
•High emotional intelligence, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
•Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with frequent travel (up to 50%)
