Job Description

Apex Clean Energy is seeking an experienced professional to join our leadership team as Vice President of Engineering and Pre-Construction; leading the engineering, pre-construction, and estimating teams responsible for supporting the successful builds of Apex’s renewable utility-scale energy projects throughout the United States.

In this role you will provide leadership and management of our engineering, estimating, and pre-construction for all Apex projects. This includes planning, budgeting, designing and managing risk to cost, schedule, and quality. You will be responsible for receiving projects from our Development Pipeline, and carrying them into the construction phase. You will work across multiple technologies including wind, solar, and storage and have direct oversight of all technical and commercial issues on the projects from early-stage development through construction beginning (NTP).

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the development, engineering, planning and construction management of multifaceted renewable energy projects and a proven ability to lead, manage, and coach a team of multi-discipline professionals.

Work Environment:

Works primarily traditional office hours in an indoor office environment. Flexible work hours allowed when work duties and business operations permit.
