Under the supervision of the Shipping Room Supervisor, the Trucker/Shipper/Receiver prepares castings for shipment and loads them onto trucks.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Prepare casting for shipment by gathering the necessary paperwork that is needed (packing slip) and by attaching the paperwork to either the box or pallet.
- Moving castings onto pallets with the assistance of a crowbar, so that they can be loaded onto the delivery truck by the fork truck.

Work Experience Needed: One to three years of verifiable work history. Experience working in a foundry environment preferred.
- Driver’s license
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch and use foot/feet to operate machine. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift items ranging from 10 lbs to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with the assistance of a crowbar. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing this job, the employee will regularly use a forklift truck and occasionally use a computer.
