Truck Driver/Warehouse

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Abiding by traffic laws when operating tractor and trailer.

· Complete pre-inspection of truck.

· Spotting trailers in dock doors assigned by supervisor.

· Load and unload trucks using lift truck when necessary/instructed.

· Using warehouse system, scan yarn cases to locate yarn or load yarn onto trailer.

· Transport material to different warehouses.

· Conduct warehouse inventory when necessary/instructed.

· Occasionally deliver to local customers.

· Understand and follow all safety procedure when operating a fork/squeeze lift.

· Complete full lift truck inspection daily.

· Complete detailed necessary paperwork.

· Report any issues and incidents to supervisor immediately.

· Maintain all work areas clean at all times.

· Responsible for using PPE in all PPE required areas at all times.

· Perform any other duties throughout shift upon supervisor’s request.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 1 year experience with CDL required.

· Minimum of 1 year experience with squeeze and forklift trucks.

· Must present Class A CDL, current Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and Current MVR.

· Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen.

· Computer knowledge and data entry skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Good Organization skills.

· Teamwork motivated.

· Ability to perform multiple tasks.

· Ability to work with instructions, but without direct supervision.

· Dependable attendance in accordance with company policy.
