Responsibilities:

- Pick and Pack items needed from requested orders for clients

- Prepare orders and packages needed for shipping out to clients

- Assist with audits/inventory/cycle counts

- Accept and perform deliveries as needed daily

- Load and unload freight

- Break down pallets/take out cardboard and wrapping material to trash bins

- Ensure the storeroom is stocked with inventory

- Offloads inbound material

- Check incoming vendor material based on purchase order descriptions and other applicable specifications

- Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by the supervisor

- Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received

- Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts

- This is primarily a shipping and receiving position that will be lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

- Perform assembly of fire suppression components as per the quality plans and record details on the manufacturing check sheet.

Requirements

- Previous 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping products

- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and procedures.

- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment

- Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
