Job Purpose
Responsible for delivery of training workshops/classes, updating learning assets, and supporting the overall operation of the learning function.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Delivers effective training workshops in various formats, including classroom, instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning.
•Edits, updates, proofreads, and tests training assets as delegated, and generates hands-on training scenarios where applicable.
•Prepares live and virtual training environments as required (e.g., physical classroom setup, preparation of virtual meetings/breakout groups, hard/soft copy materials).
•Collaborates with others to schedule training classes and accurately track attendance.
•Communicates with learning participants and their managers as necessary before and after learning events.
•Participates in end-user testing of proprietary software and e-learning assets.
•Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
•Ensures compliance with company business processes.
•Adheres to MRC Global ethics policy and holds others accountable for behavior that is consistent with MRC Global ethical standards.
•Takes reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.
•Report workplace hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately.
•Travels overnight as necessary to support learning needs in field locations, typically up to 25% (or more during special projects/implementations).
Required Experience
•Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Preferred Experience
•Experience in a trainer role or similar in a business environment.

•Applies good judgement when making decisions and maintains confidentiality as a member of the larger Human Resources department.
•Computer skills to include MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and other software commonly used to create learning assets.
Working Conditions
•Most work is performed at a desk or in front of a computer.
•Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
