Position Summary
The Training and Competency Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the effective delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement of training programs across the region. This includes implementing standardized training processes, maintaining regional training facilities, materials, and equipment, and ensuring consistency in training delivery. The role also oversees the accurate upkeep of training records and optimizes the use of third-party training resources.
This is a U.S.-based office position located in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Duties And Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and communicate regional training schedules, ensuring alignment with operational needs and employee qualification requirements. + Assist in scheduling internal and external training courses, including third-party programs. + Provide ongoing support to Training Managers in the execution of training and competency initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate training records by uploading and updating employee data in the LMS and other required databases. + Build, run, and analyze training reports; manage data entry and maintain the local training calendar within the LMS. + Administer and evaluate performance data to assess the effectiveness of instructional systems, courses, and materials.
+ Collaborate with development and training teams to ensure consistency in training documentation and identify opportunities for content reuse. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes and tools, particularly those related to offshore compliance.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with client training representatives to ensure alignment and satisfaction with training delivery. + Support the verification of employee training requirements and qualifications to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. + Performs additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support organizational objectives.
