Description: Our Quality Department is recruiting a Quality Associate and Training Coordinator to join our team at American Ring headquarters in Solon.
This position is an on-site, non-remote opportunity.
General Description:
•Support quality management system (QMS) in establishing policies, process, procedures, and practices to meet the satisfaction of our Interested Parties.
•Executes continuous improvements to the quality management system by analyzing data to develop and maintain best practices.
•Evaluates company training needs, develops training plans, and implements methods to enhance employee safety, skills, and performance during onboarding, annual recurring sessions, and ongoing instruction opportunities.
Training Responsibilities:
•Manage in-house operational training and professional development schedules, providing clarity on employee registration and instructional method (e.g. classroom, self-serve eLearning, external).
•Develop, implement, and monitor training programs in all departments across the company.
•Coordinate a cross-functional team of department trainers.
•Facilitation of training.
•Evaluate the effectiveness of training by assessing employee accomplishments and performance.
•Identifies both long-term and short-term training goals and creates programs to achieve them.
•Review training designs, exercises, and activities, initiating changes to ensure programs are accurate, comprehensive, and up to date to meet company goals
Quality Responsibilities:
•Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, investigating and resolving quality-related complaints.
•Assist in addressing and resolving quality issues with vendors and suppliers.
•Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
•Participates in performing internal audits.
•Responsible for learning and developing quality concepts and driving continuous improvement by analyzing and planning operations for optimal resource utilization.
•Reports all changes in quality processes or documentation to other departments.
•Maintain records and document control.
Education/Experience Requirements:
•Certificate/Degree in Quality / Science / Technology / Engineering / Mathematics / Education, or High School diploma with a minimum 5-years equivalent work experience.
•Strong Analytical Skills
•Change management – experience supporting organizational change through training initiatives.
•Proven track record of designing and delivering training programs (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
•Ability to engage, coach and train employees across an organization.
•Project management experience – ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements:
•Light warehouse lifting (≤ 50 lbs.)
•Some work performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise exposure.
