Join Our Team as a Total Rewards Compensation Specialist - USA/Canada at Epiroc!
Mission of the Position: As the Total Rewards Compensation Specialist for the USA and Canada, you will be integral to designing and managing compensation structures that align with the strategic goals of our organization. Your role will focus on ensuring that our total rewards packages are competitive, equitable, and compliant with the diverse regulatory environments across both countries, enhancing our ability to attract, retain, and develop key talent.
o Develop and execute comprehensive compensation and wellness programs specific to the needs of the USA and Canada markets.
o Perform market research and collaborate with the International Compensation Benchmarking (ICB) team to ensure our offerings are compelling and competitive.
o Regularly review and adjust salary structures to adapt to market changes and organizational needs.
o Ensure all total rewards practices adhere to federal, state, and provincial laws and regulations.
o Effectively communicate total rewards policies and changes to all levels of the organization.
o Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights that influence strategic decisions related to compensation.
o Prepare comprehensive reports on the status and effectiveness of the total rewards programs.
o Facilitate data-driven salary and benefits decisions for recruitment and internal movements.
o Spearhead educational initiatives to increase employee understanding and appreciation of their total rewards package.
o Create and deliver training materials and workshops to enhance employee engagement and knowledge.
o Serve as the go-to expert for HR Operations and employees regarding queries about compensation.
o Represent the USA and Canada in global total rewards projects, ensuring regional perspectives and requirements are incorporated.
o Lead local HR projects aimed at improving retention, compensation, and wellness initiatives.
o Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align total rewards strategies with organizational objectives.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Compensation, preferably within the USA and Canada markets.
· Thorough knowledge of employment and tax laws affecting compensation in multiple jurisdictions.
· Strong analytical skills and experience with HRIS and data management tools.
· Excellent communication skills, capable of managing cross-cultural interactions within diverse teams.
· Proficient in English; French proficiency is a plus.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Demonstrates a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
