Job Requirements
Performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, unemployment, and policy review.
•Open to candidates located in Grapevine, TX or Knoxville, TN areas
Essential Responsibilities
•Partners with employees and management to communicate various resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
•Provide support in processes and initiatives including employee relations, compensation, talent development, employee engagement and organizational change
•Responds to employee relation issues focused on benefits and leaves.
•Provide metric reports regarding performance management, turnover, and compensation.
•Support human resources compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resources practices and policies.
•Provide team member assistance by answering questions and concerns regarding benefits, eligibility and plan provisions.
•Advise and counsel team members regarding Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA):
•o Create leave packets and send to team members.
•o Ensure compliance and administration of leaves.
•o Follow up with team members out on leave.
•o Perform the necessary duties for a team member to return to work.
•Responsible for managing the financial aspects of team member benefits, run weekly reports to reconcile benefits billing.
•Manage the HR and Benefits Outlook inbox.
•Create and send out termination letters.
•Send out new hire Benefit reminders, when applicable.
•Administer the Benefits program:
•o Send out enrollment reminders when applicable.
•o Conduct the Dependent verification audit.
•o Collect documentation for mid-year life events.
•Represents organization during unemployment claims.
•All other duties as assigned.
Other Functions
•Special projects as requested.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Liaison between HR and other departments.
•Provides administrative support to Corporate HR Department management.
Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
•2 - 5 years of experience in human resources.
•Ability to complete investigations and communicate effectively.
•Relevant experience in FMLA and benefits laws.
•Experience in employee relations and labor law.
•Detail oriented and able to assimilate many tasks.
•Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation and personnel information systems
•Customer service skills are paramount to success in this people-oriented position, as well as able to handle extremely confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
•Required to have/carry a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card when on maritime facilities and vessels. Otherwise an escort with a valid TWIC card is required.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management or a related field preferred
Working Conditions
•Extended schedule may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
•Must be able to occasionally lift as much as ten (10) lbs.
•May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
•May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
