We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our team at Commercial Stainless Services, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks that meet industry standards while contributing to the production of our innovative kitchen and medical products.
- Fabricate parts and components from shop drawings or blueprints
- Select the appropriate welding equipment and materials
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Perform light gauge welds on a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and tube materials with minimal defections.
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain welding equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Utilizes computer terminal to log into jobs and maintain accurate job records.
- Possess a good working knowledge of all welding procedures and applicable equipment- 5+ years of experience as a TIG welder
- Excellent TIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings or blueprints
- Ability to plan and coordinate projects
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
