Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Superintendent, you will be part of the Finance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Validate time entry, communicate and collaborate closely with supervisors and suppliers;
- Process invoices for identified contracts and labour services;
- Process, compiles and prepare administrative reports;
- Prepare monthly accruals and its associated documentation for period-end purposes;
- Perform various administrative and accounting tasks;
- Comply with internal controls, policies and procedures;
- Assist the Finance department as needed.
- Administrative College Diploma or other relevant experience related in administration;
- 2-5 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Note that the official working language at our Nunavut operations is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
