You’ll join our electrical apparatus installation team, where you’ll work with experts and gain exposure to a variety of situations in which to develop your technical skills in designing electrical rooms, cable racks and substations for various industrial clients.
As team leader, you’ll serve as a proximity leader and a link between employees and managers. You’ll be responsible for managing human resources on a daily basis, developing employee skills and building a positive work environment. This role is essential in supporting the team’s individual and collective growth.
As an installation design technician, you’ll participate in engineering, technology selection and project execution in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
Diploma of college studies in building mechanics, electrical engineering or architecture or vocational diploma in building design At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical installation Excellent knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English-speaking Canadian provinces and abroad; depending on current projects, you may need to use English occasionally or daily Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in Quebec Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French Asset: experience with Hydro-Québec substation and power plant projects Asset: experience with CATIA, Smart Plant 3D and the AutoCAD Substation Design Suite (SDS)
