Position Summary:
Entry-Level position that performs basic sourcing and estimating tasks daily and will support the supply chain in all needs. Ideal position for a recent college graduate.
Job Description:•
Collect information from sourcing on vendor quotes, to then enter them into ERP System
•
Work with engineering and accounting on all new parts created to ensure proper cost is obtained and entered into ERP System
•
Assist with entering estimate details into ERP System
•
Will be asked to help organize cloud/SharePoint folders to retain proper information
•
Could be trained to assist with sourcing and/or estimating roles
•
Generate various reports around quotes and estimates against purchase details
•
Experience with purchasing and/or sourcing or at least understanding the concepts
•
Ability to think outside the box to resolve issues
•
Works well within a team as well as independently
•
Takes ownership of the role from start to finish
•
Strong organizational skills are key
•
Assist with sourcing as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
•
Bachelor’s degree
•
Zero (0) to Three (3) years in the field or related field
•
Excellent verbal and analytical skills
•
Excellent Microsoft Excel
Physical Strain:
•
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
