How You’ll Make An Impact

- Lead supplier assessments, evaluations, and audits to ensure on-time delivery and outgoing quality.

- Drive supplier qualification and maintain a robust, ethical, and sustainable supplier base.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute part and process qualifications.

- Address supply disruptions and manage claims when supplier root causes are identified.

- Resolve supplier quality issues and lead improvement initiatives through direct engagement.

- Monitor and report on supplier performance, KPIs, and quality trends.

- Lead or support supplier performance evaluations and share transparent feedback.

- Contribute to strategic quality initiatives and support special projects.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your Background

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supplier quality, procurement, manufacturing, or quality engineering.

- Strong knowledge of quality systems/tools (ISO standards, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, etc.) and SAP/4HANA (Module QM).

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Experience with 8D methodology, improvement projects, and lean/6S/statistical process control.

- Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed.

- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
