As a Supplier Quality Engineer Blades and Vanes, your day will be filled with engaging interactions with suppliers, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met, while fostering strong relationships with our valued suppliers.

How You’ll Make An Impact (responsibilities)

- Lead product and process qualification activities (PPQs) for turbine blades and vane components at suppliers.

- Contain, manage, and resolve quality issues related to non-conforming components identified at AGT Siemens Energy facilities, warehouses, or global customers.

- Drive supplier root cause investigations and corrective actions through the Problem Resolution process.

- Investigate and resolve manufacturing capability issues within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.

- Audit existing and potential suppliers to verify manufacturing capability and ensure robust quality systems.

- Develop supplier capability to meet current and future requirements while supporting cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education/work experience) in Industrial, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and/or Supplier Quality Engineer in qualifying suppliers for casting, machining and coating.

- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001), Supplier Quality Management, inspection methodologies, and quality improvement tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).

- Expertise in manufacturing processes, drawing interpretation, and collaboration with design engineering to ensure manufacturability; experience with hot blades and vanes at casting facilities is a plus.

- Proven ability to manage complex investigations and projects end-to-end, including PPQs and supplier quality issues; SAP proficiency is a plus.

- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
