Ensure the execution of the federal contract compliance programs, provide strategic leadership and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements for the Federal Contracts Program team.
Focus on overseeing activities, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements for prime contractors including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Provide oversight of compliance programs, monitor progress and ensure the timely and accurate completion of assigned responsibilities. Review team deliverables, such as gap assessments, reports, and compliance recommendations for quality and consistency.
Provide leadership to team members, promoting a culture of collaboration, professional growth and accountability. Oversee the daily operations of the Federal Contracts Program (FCP).
Interpret internal and external measures and recommend best practices for federal contract compliance across the Enterprise. Complete continuous improvement and issue risk resolutions of compliance requirements in response to internal or external drivers. Act as the primary escalation point for complex compliance issues and providing strategic guidance and resolution.
Design and develop federal contract program-level plans that describe initiatives, projects, activities, and tasks that meet the requirements of compliance drivers from internal and external sources. Consult on the scope definition and level of effort estimation the compliance owner needs.
Support cross-functional stakeholders in preparing for and responding to federal audits, inquiries, and regulatory updates.
Facilitate communication between the Federal Contracts Program team and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring understanding and application of compliance requirements.
Evaluate and optimize workflows, processes, and resource allocation to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
Present any compliance findings and status updates to stakeholders (internal and external), team members, and leadership.
Define appropriate review requirements for federal contract compliance programs, such as key milestones, improvement opportunities, and failures. Advise project leaders about any challenges to completion.
Monitor team activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, frameworks, policies and guidelines.
Stay informed of updates to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant regulations to ensure the team remains current with best practices and compliance strategies.
Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to long-term strategies, plans and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Support the translation of requirements into the project design by providing expertise and interpretation of compliance measures and drivers.
Collaborate with process owners to ensure compliance metrics and measured goals are accomplished and levels are maintained.
Represent internal stakeholders and federal contract compliance team during annual compliance activities, such as internal compliance reviews and compliance inspections.

Preferred bachelor's degree in legal, business administration, accounting, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:
