The Food Service Manager oversees the restaurant and staff.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to:
Ability to set daily expectations, align the team, follow up, and provide feedback through coaching to improve performance
Ability to manage vendors to increase sales, improve inventory and maintain high service levels
Process paperwork and ensure that deposit is made daily
Reviewing and approving employee timecards and vacation requests
Ability to handle disciplinary issues and take appropriate action, along with complete follow through
Ensures compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
Prepares high quality products consistently by following recipes, specifications and procedures as described in the training materials and as shown on the station job helpers
Displays the proper image as outlined in the orientation and training handbook and/or as directed by management
Cleans and organizes work stations and other assigned areas to help maintain the standards for restaurant image
Practices safety and security procedures as defined in the Orientation and Training Handbook and/or as directed by the management staff and by government agencies
Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness
