The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall store operations (ie: expenses, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, security) and store staff. The individual in this role is tasked with building and supporting a store culture that is aligned to Wehrung’s mission where employees are engaged and inspired.
· Work with other departments to continuously improve store results
· Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed
· Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to conduct purchase transactions
· Ensure merchandise is in stock and displayed on shelves in a presentable manner
· Find innovative ways to improve sales and boost revenue
· Oversee full and part time store associates
· Train, schedule, develop and lead the store team
· High School Diploma or equivalent GED, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is preferred.
· 1 to 3 years’ experience leading associates in a large, fast paced, cross-functional retail work environment.
· Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to regularly lift a minimum of 30 pounds without assistance and may be required to lift over 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Schedule: Minimum 45 hours per week,Monday through Friday and rotational weekends as needed
